Sara and Her Sisters

Tempesta di Mare’s Chamber Players share the extraordinary story of three Jewish women who defied boundaries of class, religion and gender expectations to become cultural tastemakers in 1780’s Berlin, with music from their personal collections by the Bachs—Johann Sebastian, Wilhelm Friedemann, and Carl Philipp Emanuel—plus Janitsch, Quantz and Mozart.
